Services to Saint-Jacques Parish, Embrun

The Knights of Columbus are intended to be the right arm of the Church. Throughout the year, we, the Knights of Council 6301, financially support our parish. As a non-profit organization, we annually make a donation to our church and we respond quickly and positively, when possible, to all requests for donations for special purchases or emergencies.
Some of our implications are:

• On the last Sunday of each month, the Knights are responsible for liturgical services at the 10h30 mass: some greet people at the door, two are altar servers, one reader, one animator, three communion ministers and four more for the collection. Everything is orchestrated by Sire Knight Rhéo Brisson.
• At a funeral, a designated member has to find two Knights to be altar servers, another to carry the cross, two to carry the candles and a few more as communion ministers.
• Annually, in May the Knights participate in large numbers to a chore for the maintenance of the cemetery. Sire Knight Camil Piché is in charge of this activity.

The Knights of Columbus of Embrun want to emphasize that they have at heart the services they offer to Saint-Jacques Parish of Embrun. They especially want to note that they are working very closely with Mr. Abbe Albert Kaumba Mufwata and that this working relationship and team is very nice.
